Welcome to the World Congress 2012
The World Federation of Colleges and Polytechnics (WFCP) is an international network of colleges and associations of colleges.
ACCC, in collaboration with Nova Scotia Community College, will host the World Congress of the WFCP in 2012. Driving the Global Economy will stimulate dialogue on the profound influence of education on societies, economies and urban and rural communities.
Cross-cutting themes will include:
- Local and Global Innovation
- Indigenous Peoples
- Access for the Disadvantaged
- Sustainability
- Transformational Leadership
Over 1,200 institutional leaders, senior government officials, international partners, faculty and students will gather in Halifax. The ACCC Annual Conference is integrated into the WFCP event.
The Conference will be taking place May 26 to 29, 2012 at the World Trade & Convention Centre, the Delta Halifax, as well as the Prince George Hotel, in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
